Workplace Abuse or Harassment: It should go without saying that nobody – male or female – deserves to be mistreated at work, whether by a person in a higher position or otherwise. If you are being verbally accosted, sexually assaulted, consistently disrespect, threatened, or approached in any unacceptable fashion, it is fully within your right to quit. Of course, bringing the issue to the authorities, your boss, or someone else you trust could solve the issue or get the guilty party fired, but quitting is also an option.
