Non-Profit (or Non-Government Organization, NGO) Director: This one may seem out of place, but bear with us. By leading a nonprofit, you are not only responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, but often times there will be a large need for political support in order to fundraise for whatever cause it is your organization fights for. In order to do so, you’ll need a detailed understanding of how the non-profit sector and political agendas are related to one another, which means a poli-sci degree would be a great advantage.
