Washington, D.C.: Obviously, this is the place for politically-interested millennials to consider moving to, thanks to the city’s role as the nation’s capital. However, its technical, financial, and professional-services fields are also growing steadily. Companies like AT&T, Capitol One, Carfax, Geico, and WeddingWire are repeatedly voted as some of the best places to work. The major drawback is the cost of living; as recently as October 2015, the median rent was listed at around $1,900.
