Again, as an executive it’s of paramount importance that you have a good understanding of the industry you are applying to. You may have been able to get away with metaphorically describing how your serving job applies to a sales associate position, but being an executive is in a different ballpark. Make sure to include anything you did as a manager, director, or executive regardless of the field. Sometimes experience in one industry translates well to another, so you want to give them a complete understanding of your executive background.
