Sometimes we get so concentrated on our careers that we forget that a social life is an integral part to our happiness. What we don’t often think about is how being unhappy negatively affects our performance at work. A report done by the University of Warwick found that happy employees were 12% more productive than their grumpy counterparts.

Go out and do more things. If barhopping ain’t your thing, then consider joining a club or class. Try spending time with your family or a significant other, and make sure you are reserving enough time for personal interaction.
