Carpe Diem: 10 Good Work Habits to Practice Daily

Get Up, Stand Up:


Einstein did it, and more and more experts are championing working standing up. Hours of endless sitting can have a serious impact on not only obvious things like posture, but also in the development of diseases like diabetes. Whenever possible, do some of your daily tasks while standing. For example, get up from your chair when taking a call or stand up while waiting for something to print. If your office has high countertop space somewhere, see if you can bring your laptop there. I’m writing this as I stand up in my kitchen, in case any of you were wondering.
