Carpe Diem: 10 Good Work Habits to Practice Daily

Say Hello to a Stranger:

Nobody ever suffered from having too many acquaintances at work. If you work in a cubicle, make a concerted effort to reach out not only to your neighboring coworkers, but even to those across the room. If possible, say hi and introduce yourself to one new person every day. If your work family is small, find out ways to interact with people on other floors, in other departments, or even in different locations. For employees working remotely with little to no interaction with other people, adjust this habit slightly to incorporate your network online. Seek out folks in similar industries on LinkedIn, Twitter, or similar platforms.
