6 Job Interview Jokes Appropriate To Tell

Incorporating humor into an interview can be risky, but could also set you apart from other candidates if done adroitly. In the event an interviewer asks you tell a joke, or you’d just like to close with one, here are some quality, G-rated jokes from a recent Reddit thread that you should keep in your back pocket.

This guy inherits a bunch of penguins. At first, it’s all fantastic; he picks up the ladies, etc. After a while, he’s had enough. The penguins have ruined his apartment. He calls up his friend, gives him $800, and says, “Take these penguins to the zoo!” He’s gone for 8 hours and when he eventually comes back he STILL has the penguins.

His friend asks, “Why do you still have the penguins I told you to take them to the zoo!”

The other guy goes, “I did, but I had some money left over so I took them to the movies, too.”

  • This article is a complete shambles. Not only did the author literally only put in the work of copying the top 6 results of a reddit thread, they didn't even manage to use decent formatting. This article took absolutely no effort, and still looks visually unappealing. Articles like this are why modern journalism is a disrespected field. The author of this article should feel ashamed.
